Who is Charlie's, and who will be doing the work?
Charlie's is owner-led by Joe Ross, Owner & Lead Service Technician. He has been in the trade since 2008 — working through installation, HVAC department management, and sales before starting Charlie's — and still runs service calls himself.
That matters for a practical reason rather than a sentimental one: the person quoting your project understands how the equipment actually gets installed. Estimates written by someone who has never commissioned a system are how jobs end up needing a second visit, a second trade, or a second price.

What is a utility Trade Ally, and why does it matter?
Tacoma Power, PSE, and Peninsula Light only approve contractors who meet their own installation and training standards. That approval is what lets us apply many rebates at the point of sale instead of leaving you to file for reimbursement — and on some programs, an approved installer is required for the rebate to be granted at all. Charlie's holds that status with all three.
