Our commitment

Charlie's Heating, Cooling & Electrical is committed to digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of building and maintaining this site rather than a one-time audit, and we apply relevant standards as the site changes.

What we've built toward

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. In practice, that shapes this site in the following ways:

• Semantic HTML with a single, ordered heading structure on every page
• Navigation that works by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
• Text and interface colors chosen to meet contrast requirements
• Text that reflows and stays readable when zoomed or viewed on a small screen
• Descriptive link text, so links make sense out of context
• Form fields with real labels, not placeholder text standing in for them
• Meaningful alternative text for images that carry information

Where we know we fall short

Accessibility is ongoing, and we would rather name the gaps than imply there are none. If you hit a barrier anywhere on this site — something a screen reader skips, a control you can't reach by keyboard, text you can't read — we want to hear about it. We treat those reports as bugs and fix them.
